Salary Computation and Payment

CPF Computation and e-Submission

From 1 April 2016, it is a mandatory requirement for all employers to issue itemized pay slips to their employees. Each payslip requires a thorough breakdown of how their pay was derive each month. Employee’s IR8A submission
As stated in the Income Tax Act, it is mandatory for all employers to prepare IR8A and Appendix 8A, Appendix 8B or Form IR8S (where applicable) by the 1st of March each year. Submission of IR8A for their employees is required if the employer has 8 or more employees as stated in the Auto-Inclusion Scheme.
Every employer has the responsibility to withhold all monies due to an employee for tax clearance. This is required when an employee that isn’t a Singaporean cease employment with you in Singapore, plans to leave Singapore for more than 3 months or get posted overseas.
Registration for Auto Inclusion Scheme
Auto Inclusion Scheme (AIS) for Employment Income helps employees submit their income information to IRAS. It is mandatory for all employers with 8 or more employees to file their employees income tax. Employers that are not in the AIS can opt to register as well to help their employees with the filing.
